We had over 650 attendees and their guests – record attendance, in this past year's InfraMation 2008 conference! With over 60 technical and poster presentations and 18 separate “IR Clinics” there was enough to keep us all busy for the week!
But while, of course, I think what I have to say is the most important, I’ll turn the mike over to you, so to speak! That is, each year after InfraMation we spend a great deal of time surveying the attendees and asking for feedback on the conference. So, with that, here’s what the attendees of InfraMation 2008 had to say …
A whopping 90.9% said InfraMation 2008 was a “very good, if not fantastic” event – thank you! Furthermore, 97.8% reported that they would recommend InfraMation to a colleague or friend. That’s powerful.
I hope to all of you who have never attended InfraMation – or maybe haven’t attended in a few years – will take a moment now to register with us for InfraMation 2009. Infrared cameras have come a long way, more perhaps in the past 4 years than the past 40.
What makes infrared cameras unique is that for such a sophisticated piece of technology, they can be used quite easily. Sure, some training is required, but the benefits are enormous, and I heard over and over again how so many individuals see their infrared camera as not just a valuable tool, but a way to advance their business or careers.
