While the content and schedule for InfraMation 2008 is currently in development, you can get a sense of what the conference experience is like by checking out past conferences—including the 2007 conference, which took place in Las Vegas in October.
Nearly 600 people—a record number—attended InfraMation 2007! And because we know that our customers are at the heart of our conference, we listen to their feedback and enhance our program to meet their needs. For instance, at InfraMation 2007, we added short courses on Business Marketing, Automation Applications, Advanced Substation and Transformer Inspections, QuickView and QuickReport software, and IR Program Management because our attendees asked us. We also offered 69 technical presentations, 21 hands-on IR clinics, and many panel discussions with industry experts. Check out the titles and descriptions for all of the presentations and IR clinics from 2007 on this Web site.
Looking forward, we’ll be listening to customer feedback from 2007 to make the 2008 conference even more valuable for attendees.
Here’s a snapshot of what people have to say about the 2007 conference.
"Thanks for a wonderful time. It was an experience of a lifetime."
"I received so much information at the conference, it will be impossible to apply all the info in one year’s time."
"The classes I took were very informative. I thought the papers had a lot of good information. I am looking forward to next year, and I may try to do a paper…. I gained a lot of knowledge I can use in my business."
"I commend everyone at FLIR and ITC for making this conference a success. A lot of planning and work obviously went into making this conference and specifically the presentations flow as smoothly as they did."
"It was great to confer with other Thermographers and people interested in the industry. At every turn I picked up a new idea or new information that will help me in the use of Thermography."
"Everything was just first class. Being my first conference I was very impressed with the AM sessions and the PM classes I took were great. I work in the electrical utility field and through the conference, I discovered there are just a world or opportunities for someone to use the infrared camera, which I plan to pursue individually."
"The meeting was terrific, it was very well organized, participants were adequately selected and topic of clinics and the physics show were also very interesting and useful." |
